How to Get There

Reaching Campalabo Sandbar is an adventure in itself. From Cebu City, make your way to the South Bus Terminal and catch a bus heading to Pinamungajan. The ride takes around 2-3 hours, and you’ll want to ask the driver to drop you off at Brgy. Tajao or Bugsay Resto Grill. The bus fare is an affordable ₱80 per person (one-way), or you can opt for a v-hire for ₱100.

Once you arrive in Brgy. Tajao, you can easily find a boat to take you to the sandbar. Boat rentals typically cost ₱150 per person for a roundtrip, with a minimum of six passengers. The boat ride lasts about 20-30 minutes, during which you can enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding waters.

Tips for Your Visit

• Best Time to Visit: Plan your trip between 4-5 PM to catch the sandbar at its most beautiful. After your visit, you can enjoy dinner at Bugsay Resto Grill on the mainland.
• Food and Supplies: Bring your food and drinks before heading out to the sandbar, as there are no facilities on the islet.
• No Cottages: Since there are no cottages or shelters on the sandbar, consider bringing your own tables and chairs if you plan to stay for a while.
