Cebu City anticipates the arrival of Sinulog Festival, its most awaited event of the year, as early as December. Running from December 1, 2023, to January 22, 2024, this lively celebration guarantees a plethora of colorful and spirited activities.

Festive Prelude

The Sinulog Street Fair transforms Osmena Blvd., Fuente Osmena, and Plaza Independencia with stalls and vibrant decorations, setting the stage for the upcoming festivities.

Spiritual Kick-off (January 11)

• Walk With Jesus (4 a.m): Embark on a spiritual journey from Basilica del Sto. Niño, with a procession to Fuente Osmeña and Osmeña Blvd.
• Opening Salvo Mass (6 a.m.): The festival officially commences with a mass at Basilica del Sto. Niño.

Cultural Celebration Begins (January 12)

The official launch of cultural showcases includes the Sinulog Trade Fair (10 a.m.) organized by DTI, featuring local products and crafts; Holy Mass at Basilica Pilgrim Quadrangle (2:30 p.m.); Launching Parade (3 p.m.), showcasing traditional customs and vibrant costumes; and the Sinulog Idol and Nightly Show (7 and 8 p.m.) at Fuente Osmeña, where musical talents take center stage.

Cultural Continuity (January 13 – January 17)

Daily cultural shows, Sinulog Idol competitions, and nightly entertainment at Fuente Osmeña and Plaza Independencia maintain the festive spirit.

The Pageantry (January 18)

This special day highlights the Sinulog Festival Queen Runway Competition and the Sinulog Idol Grand Finals.

Pre-Grand Parade Festivities (January 19)

A blend of religious and cultural events, including the Walk with Mary and the Sinulog Festival Queen Coronation Night.

Spiritual and Cultural Fusion (January 20)

The Fluvial Procession, a re-enactment of historical events, and the Solemn Procession seamlessly blend faith and festivity.

The Grand Parade (January 21)
