- Ride-sharing: Grab and Micab are popular ride-sharing options. Fares are similar to those of taxis.
- Shuttle bus: If on a budget, take a white airport jeepney or the yellow airport shuttle bus for only ₱25 per person. Travel time is around 45–90 minutes, depending on traffic.
Going to Cebu by Sea
For sea travel, you can take a ferry from neighboring islands like Bohol, Dumaguete, Manila, etc. Cebu has six seaports: Cebu City, Mactan, Danao, Argao, Bogo, and Oslob. The two most popular ports for ferries arriving from other places are Pier 1 in Cebu City and Mactan Port in Lapu-Lapu City. Travel time varies from 2 to 12 hours, depending on the origin and ferry used. Fares range from ₱200 to ₱2000 per person.
Once your ferry docks, you can take a taxi, jeepney, or bus into Cebu City, which is about 30 minutes away from both ports, depending on traffic. Public transport fares are very affordable, at around ₱10 to ₱30 per person.
